2. Check your graduate admission status for the arrival of transcripts from previous universities and the recommendation letters.
   
3. You will be contacted by the admissions comittee for a personal interview.
   
4. Once accepted you must provide a $500 admission fee by check made out to UAB. The check should be addressed to

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the IEM program will be evaluated by the IEM admissions committee. The minimum criteria for admission are:

• A bachelors degree. (Degrees in engineering, computer science, math, the sciences, or MIS are preferred.)
• Professional work experience.
• Recommendations from professionals.
• An interview by a member of the application committee.
  

Applications will be accepted into the program on a first come, first serve basis as they are accepted into the Graduate School at UAB.
